Why the Church You Choose Matters
Living in our culture we know you have lots of choices about almost everything including the church where you choose to worship. You can find a church that will practice and teach almost anything YOU want to believe, right? The goal of some churches is to make you feel better about YOU. Their worship is filled with “worshiptainment,” praise bands with smoke machines, orchestras, fabulous vocals, motivational speeches, and such like, all in an effort to satisfy the audience. You might wonder if you were in a worship service or a rock concert.
But this choice should not be about you or me. It should be about God. I should choose a church that will just be a church. I should choose a place of worship that will focus on God, teach His word, and where I will be able to worship and serve God faithfully at His direction.
South Cullman is the place. Our Bible classes are just that, they are BIBLE classes. Our worship is simple. We sing without musical accompaniment (acappella). We partake of the Lord’s Supper weekly. We are fervent in prayer. The sermons you will hear are Christ centered. Don’t you want to be a part of a church that is just a church? Check us out. You’ll be glad you did.
